Jan 12, 2010 · The Mobility Radeon HD 4670 is DirectX 10.1. If you have DirectX 11 installed (default in Windows 7 or Vista with platform update) it will show up in dxdiag as 'DirectX 11' however, it won't run games in Direct3D 11 mode (even though for many years the tessellation feature has been on ATI cards but other features are not necessarily present).

Oct 08, 2010 · Directx 11 will have support for directx 10, 9, 8, etc etc. As will your graphic card, say your radeon 4670 directx 10 players Assassin creed's 2 which is directx 9 only. It will be backwards compatible and support directx 9 right out of the box without any tweaking.

Mar 15, 2013 · The lowest card you can get with directx 11 support is the radeon HD 5770. I owned that one and it does play alright. Was getting about 40 fps on tomb raider at high res, but tessaltion turned off and tessfx hair turned off. With crysis it runs about 30 fps on fairly high res and textures, but shadows and lighting needs to be turned down.

Aug 14, 2019 · When I Google on the DeviceID from your own screenshots strax, I see that it is most likely a ATI Radeon HD 4670. Just Google on this "0x9490" ;-) So if you select the 4670, you should be fine. By the way, all in the same 'family' should be fine because the software/drivers are for a whole bunch of ATI cards.Reviews: 20

Oct 23, 2016 · I'm running two ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series video cards on Windows 10. I want to install the newest DirectX. I looked in the diagnostic tool and it says I have Version 10.1. I have gone to Windows Updates and checked for updates, but it says it's up to date. I'm not able to play certain games, since I don't have at least Version 11.
