Sep 18, 2015 · There are several versions of Athlon X2 64 nnnn+ processors. Early versions of them do not support the CMPXCHG16b instruction, so cannot run 64-bit Windows 8.1 or Windows 10. If your processor is one of the early versions it cannot run 64-bit Windows later than Windows 8.

May 06, 2019 · This particular Athlon x2 doesn't have integrated Graphics. Thus is doesn't require any specific driver. It might need CHIP Set drivers from HP Support. Seems like your Laptop is very old and not supported by HP since it is using a very old Mobile processor that first came out in 2008.Reviews: 2
