    ath9k is a Linux kernel driver supporting Atheros 802.11n PCI/PCI-E chips, introduced at Linux 2.6.27. Supported devices are listed at the end of this page. Atheros 802.11n USB devices are supported by the ath9k_htc and carl9170 drivers.

    May 12, 2010 · Re: ath9k doesn't support 802.11N This is in fact the ath9k driver - a few weeks ago if you used 802.11n with ath9k it would give odd kernel panics. Sometimes only after many days, sometimes when logging in.
