Mar 17, 2016 · As Win 10 informs me: AsusSetup does not support this operation system with information: WNT_6.2H_64. I do not know, which unit / hardware / software this belong to? So I could change/ repair it, either hardware/ software? Asus seems not to repair it, my motherboard is 6 year old. Will some one detail me, where this fault is addressing to?

AsusSetup errpr does not support this Operating System If you are on Microsoft Windows XP x86 then you are probably running a very old version of the setup or the installer which only supports versions earlier than Microsoft Windows XP.

May 30, 2016 · Thanks for your time to read this post. I just finished my first build and trying to install my drivers for my Asus Z170I Pro Gaming M/B. When i download the chipset driver is allows me to install the "SetupChipset" but once that finishes and i try to install the "AsusSetup" (also in the chipset file) I get the "Does not support this operating system: WNT_10.0H_64" pop up window.

It is not delet any folder. When you unzip the folder and install the chip Windows creates a folder in C / Windows with the same folder name Chip. Then each time you start Windows, get the message DOES NOT SUPPORT THIS OPERATING SYSTEM: WNT_6.2P_64. Deleting the folder with the same name of the Chip. Solves the problem.

Nov 19, 2011 · I found that the program I normally use for unzipping does not work in W8 but fortunately I see that WE already has one. The method used for installing most of the remainder was first to add WNT_6.2P_64 = win7_64 to the AsusSetup.ini files, and then R/C on AsusSetup.exe to troubleshoot in recommended settings.

Jul 30, 2017 · You are right. I don't know myself why I had to click that asussetup.exe Probably placebo effect. Asus added stuff to the setup folder, they must have customized it to the unit's use. (Posting as bookmarking, in case someone has a clearer explanation than my gut feeling )
