Dec 07, 2010 · I have a new server running Server 2008 R2 x64 on a Asus M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 motherboard and when I plug a USB3 NexStar3 enclosure with a 640 GB hard drive in it designed for USB3 the hard drive in it can not be recognized by the OS, however plug that same enclosure into a USB2 port and it works just fine.
