Ok, it is out of warranty but I decided to have it repaired. It's still cheaper than buying a new one. This entire process started in October 2019, with ASUS telling me that the repair was delayed because it needed to order parts, on 2 separate occasions. ASUS ordered the part(s), started the repair but had to order more part(s).
