May 21, 2012 · I'm buying a new motherboard on ebay, but I need to know if the p8p67 deluxe supports ivy bridge before I buy it so that I know if i have to buy a bios chip. Does the rev 3.0/gen3 support ivy bridge out of the box, or is that just z68?

Sep 02, 2013 · OK, Asus has announced a new BIOS revision for the Ivy Bridge-E CPU which will make it compatible with RIVE. My question is not whether the revision will work with the chip and the RIVE but will the result be the same as if the board had been expressly designed for it. Will the BIOS revision be a work-around which would allow full functionality.

Apr 30, 2012 · To update to UEFI build 3202: Ensure system is 100% stable before flashing! Do not perform this update on an overclocked system, set defaults and ensure 100% stability before commencing. 1) Flash from EZ Flash 2 (this is important, do not use any other method of flashing!) using a FAT32 formatted USB drive. Make sure you flash from EZ Flash 2 only and NOT Windows!

Apr 15, 2012 · On paper the new Ivy Bridge chip, will be a big change for the better / a game changer if you like... I hope to upgrade to the NEW Asus Z77 board in 3 weeks, and drop in my i5 2500K. being backwards compatible, excellent move by Intel.
