    I don't see how it could happen with mainline GCC. It looks like you are using a CodeSourcery toolchain; you may want to ask them for support. Perhaps that toolchain does not have cortex-m3 support. By the way, I assume that you intend to compile for the ARM processor; you didn't really say. Ian
