Jun 15, 2012 · Are you trying to open these files in ArcPad or ArcMap? Do you use ArcGIS Desktop as well? If you do, I might focus on perhaps modifying your workflow to begin using the geodatabase. If you can use ArcMap to check the data in and out from a geodatabase it would be much more stable.Reviews: 4

Sep 01, 2017 · I know ArcPad is going the way of the dinosaur but if ArcGIS Pro (where I'm doing most of my work) is able to do exporting and syncing with ArcPad on my Trimble GeoExplorer 6000, especially with exporting hosted feature service layers from ArcGIS Online, it would cut down on a lot of extra work.
