Jul 10, 2013 · I read Wireless Setup, tried to make it work with NetworkManager, wpa_supplicant all to no avail. Also I downgraded linux, linux-headers, and linux-firmware to 3.9.4 (version from installation cd) and it didnt make it work either. Been using Arch for several months (didn't need wireless until now).

I put the intel 9260 in my laptop because it had BT 5.0 and I have no complaints. This card works so much better with my AirPods than the 82XX that was in there before. Even as an AMD fanboy I can admit that Intel wireless cards are the way to go on Linux laptops. Intel’s support for Linux is fantastic.
