Your Application Engine program can be open on the desktop, but you do not need to open the Application Engine program or the PeopleCode action that you want to debug. Select Debug, Break at Start. Mar 15, 2017 · Or, for anyone that finds this thread from a search engine, the other possibility is you're trying to debug an app in Windows IoT that is also set as the Default Startup App. In that case you can fix the issue by setting some other app as your Default Startup App.
