Mar 01, 2010 · Rosetta is an optional installation in Snow Leopard. If you're doing a clean installation of Snow Leopard you can choose to install Rosetta as part of the initial installation. Otherwise, Snow Leopard will offer to download & install Rosetta the first time you launch an application that needs it.

Jan 31, 2017 · This would allow you to have continued use of Appleworks, until you are able to migrate all your data to Lion compatible versions, without having to reinstall Snow Leopard. Options for running Windows on a Mac are shown in this tip. The Windows version of Appleworks is not available for sale from the Apple retail stores any longer.
