Jun 15, 2009 · Use some caution on the terminology here, as there are Xserve and Xserve RAID widgets, and these are quite different. There needs to be a computer or controller here to act as a router between clients expecting to have Network Attached Storage (NAS) and a Fibre Channel Storage Area Network (FC SAN) widget such as the Xserve RAID.
