Oct 05, 2008 · However, I can download other things successfully; tried an episode of the Sopranos and it downloaded with no problem. Still cannot download the Rome episode this morning. Tried unplugging the Apple TV box for a few minutes and plugging it back in again (this has worked on some other errors in the past), but it didn't help.

Apr 16, 2011 · The "failed download" in question was PCalc in my case, a calculator… makes "8008" all the more amusing. Anyway, what finally worked was running iTunes on another Mac, signing in with my store account there, and doing a Check for Available Downloads from that second computer.
