Oct 30, 2015 · I'm attempting to update my Apple TV to the public release, but when I manually install the ISPW downloaded from the developer center, it raises this error: I've checked that my hosts file is OK, but no matter what I do, I can't install the new OS. Right now, my Apple TV is bricked, since I can't install an older GM either. Any help is appreciated.

Apr 18, 2008 · My Apple TV is connected to the internet but will not update the software. I click update software and nothing happens. I have software version 1.0. I'm able to access my iTunes content through my network just fine, just can't update the software. Please help. Thanks.

Oct 01, 2017 · The first disappointment occurs when I could not enable HDR on the Apple TV. On my Apple TV I tried: Settings > "Video and Audio" > Enable HDR. The TV went black for quite a while, and eventually came back with a message saying it could not enable HDR on my TV. It turns out I needed to configure my Sony TV first.
