Jun 14, 2014 · No, I think it's pretty likely to be a hardware problem. If it were a software problem, it would be common and, really, it's not. It's definitely time to take it to the Genius Bar at your local Apple Store. I had an iPhone 5 on Verizon, never had any dropped call issues. It worked as well as the iPhone 4S before it and the 5S since. Best of luck.

Nov 21, 2017 · I am having dropped call issues now at my home with my iPhone 7+ that I never had. For incoming or outgoing calls they can hear me for 30 seconds and then they cannot hear me but I can still hear them. My bars range from 4 to 3 typically.
