Apr 29, 2014 · When I try to burn a Blu-Ray disk in FCP7 via the command 'Share', after a few seconds I get the message: "Apple Q-Master file agent not found' and the burn is aborted. It worked perfectly before, so I'm puzzled that is does not any more. What goes wrong? OS is Snow Leopard on a Mac Pro.

From the top level of your hard disk, open the Library folder, then open the Application Support Folder. Drag the Apple Qmaster folder to the Trash. Restart your Mac.

Jul 31, 2009 · So, I deleted my preference files, "Reset Services" in the Apple Qmaster preference pane, and restarted, and now everything works as I stated above. It is an odd issue, though... Compressor is accepting job processes to my virtual cluster, yet those "Not Responding" messages pop up in the Activity Monitor.
