Dec 15, 2009 · My Ipod Shuffle (2nd Generation) is in DFU Mode. When I try to reset it using the "iPod Reset Utility" I keep getting a window telling me that "The attached iPod model is not supported by this application". Why do i keep getting that window when i am using the correct "iPod Reset Utility"?

Aug 22, 2016 · Welcome to Apple Support Communities, and congrats on the new Mac Mini! From what I'm understanding from your post, you have plugged your iPod shuffle into your new Mac Mini using its USB cable, and you are not seeing it show up in iTunes. You can't sync songs to your Shuffle without seeing it in iTunes, so I can see why you're concerned!
