Oct 08, 2006 · Yes, DNG is an Adobe Proprietary format. But Adobe and Apple are not exactly competitors. Aperture supports import and export of Photoshop images as well as allows for opening files in photoshop for more advanced editing of individual images.

Dec 14, 2013 · Anyone know how to export a DNG from Lightroom or the DNG Converter, and successfully get it to display in Aperture? All I get is 'unsupported file format', I am trying this with a Sony A7r, but thought the DNG conversion may have side stepped the wait for the Apple RAW support.
