    Jul 10, 2017 · To receive the IPv6 addys from the "main" base station, I would suggest that you start by using the "Automatic" setting for the downstream base stations. This should assign IPv6 addresses to those stations. Then using the AirPort Utility, note the IPv6 addresses assigned to them. They try using the other two options and note the results.

    Sure enough, I went into the AirPort Utility on my iPhone (the same app on my iMac couldn't even see the AirPort Extreme!), disabled "Share IPv6 Connection" and after the router rebooted, everything started working properly again.     The issue is that my routers are all fifth and sixth generation (the latest) Apple Time Capsules / Airport Extremes. Apparently, Cox's IPV6 system has always had issues with these Apple routers to the point where Cox finally suggested that everyone using such routers disable IPV6 connectivity.
