Your IMAP ISP must also support IDLE; mine does (push works fine on my Mac), but there's no iPhone IMAP push support.

Jan 19, 2017 · Best android email client I've found is Aqua Mail . I was going to suggest that as well.I preferred it to K9 (cant remember why) . It has imap support, and the option to pass protect the app (keypass to open it). I like the idea of having pass protected email apps, as I dont want to pass protect the phone.
