Jun 20, 2012 · Websites that are not around anymore, hence the MHTML being known as an "archive format". I am still refereing to MHT files (web pages) saved from Opera, IE or Firefox with UnMHT and not emailing MHT format. Support for MHT should be easy with some budding Androuid app developer. If Android can do PDF then it can do MHT. No doubt.

Even Dolphin Browser HD on Android can open MHT web archive files but with problems like not displaying images and page mis-formatting. Yes MHT is Microsoft centric but so are other files such as Wma that Android natively supports. The MHT format is also a open format and not closed so Android could implement this in easier.

Sep 23, 2018 · MHT (MHTML) is a Microsoft format, so if you are running Windows, you can open those files with Internet Explorer. I've seen people say that if you rename a .mht file to .eml, then programs which can understand .eml format can open them. I have't tried that. I need firefox primarily for it's ability to save browser sessions.
