It seems android use a new bluetooth stack since version 4.2 . So it doesn't rely on the BlueZ statck now. Dec 14, 2016 · I am running Android 4.4.2 an would also like to use a Bluetooth dongle. I have a "old" dongle, that worked fine with Android 2.3.4, but I can't get it to Work with Android 4.4.2. Do it have to be a bluetooth dongle with OTG support if it should work with Android 4.4.2 ? Hope someone can help me . Many regards MrNisse

Sep 17, 2014 · Yes, on my dongle the blue light is clearly there when I stick it into the usb slot, however Udoo/Android is not able to activate it through the settings. The bluetooth switch there just keeps flipping back to "off" when trying to turn it "on". How exactly are you activating the bluetooth dongle? Is there any secret or magic we're missing some how?
