I can use blueZ hciconfig to find the usb bluetooth device 'hci0'. But I can't enable the bluetooth on Android 4.2.2. It seems android use a new bluetooth stack since version 4.2 . So it doesn't rely on the BlueZ statck now.

Dec 14, 2016 · I am running Android 4.4.2 an would also like to use a Bluetooth dongle. I have a "old" dongle, that worked fine with Android 2.3.4, but I can't get it to Work with Android 4.4.2. I updated my Firmware to 4.4.2 using Samsung Kies, and had just notice it recently that I cant connect my tab to PC again. Usually, the there will be a notification bar on the device (like to choose MTP or USB) but right now, I cant even find it, no clue either.
