Sep 02, 2011 · When trying to uninstall a Linksys Wireless-G USB Network Adapter either Uninstall or Add/Remove from the Control Panel; the ERROR of " An Installation support file could not be installed. The system cannot find teh file specified. " is pop out. The OS of the desktop is Microsoft Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 3.

"An installation support file could not be installed. The system could not find the file specified." I've done searches and have been unable to solve the issue. I've tried installing the software again but it says I have to uninstall the previous version first. I have a WMP54G and I'm running version 4.51 of the Network Monitor if that helps.
