Mar 06, 2019 · I was surprised to see posts here from users of Acer and HP laptops built on Ryzen without any mention of this issue so I decided to start a thread in the hopes that AMD will investigate and provide a universal solution to the vendors so they can provide a bios update. IOMMU sounds like a generic name for Intel VT-d and AMD IOV. In which case I don't think you can multiplex devices, it's a lot like PCI passthrough before all these fancy virtualization instructions existed :). SR-IOV is different, the peripheral itself must carry the support.
