In case of upgrading the AIX OS when SDDPCM is installed with a SAN boot device managed by SDDPCM, the rootvg hdisk is associated with the SDDPCM and the appropriate host attachment script. Hence, neither SDDPCM nor the host attachment script can be removed to allow migration and upgrade.
