    Reduction of amphibian populations was investigated by looking at 40 ponds in the agricultural region of southeastern Minnesota, northeastern Iowa, and southwestern Wisconsin to determine what characteristics of man-made ponds versus naturally occurring ponds created better habitat for amphibians.
