Oct 16, 2018. when i import an audio music track, the sound appears to be compressed into half the space. The second half of the space is silent! I have tried converting MP3 to WAV, it did work on one then failed on another.

Premiere Pro does not support audio-only capture for some formats, such as HDV. Using audio from audio CDs You can use CD audio (CDA) files in a project, but before you can import them into Premiere Pro, you need to convert them to a supported file format, such as WAV or AIFF.

Hi Vidya. Yes this is happening with all .mp3 files. ive tried converting the file into wave using the adobe encoder, but the encoder has the same issue
