    May 29, 2012 · For Adium, I found out that the SIP port is 5060. I can "telnet xyz.local 5060" to confirm the connection is working. The rest of the SIP setup in Adium seems straightforward: input username, server address, port # and password. I left other settings as default. Adium just always says "Connecting" but never connects.
