May 27, 2010 · How big is your deck? I would hope with 4 6x6's it is not more than 24' feet wide and 16' deep. My deck is about 12 feet in the air on 8 6X6's and there are face cracks in all the posts. We just had 3 foot of snow on the deck a few months ago. The deck didn't go anywhere! Are you getting sway? What is drawing the concern.
