Jan 28, 2012 · I installed Lion on my mac book pro (Bought it legally). Now, I cant use any PowerPC applications because it is no longer supported. Now I cant use apps like "Visual Boy Advance". So the message I get when I double click it is "You can't open the application VisualBoyAdvance because PowerPC applications are no longer supported.".

Jul 31, 2016 · Apple stopped supporting those types of applications when they transitioned to Lion which was 6 years ago. OS X: Application icon has a prohibitory sign, or "PowerPC applications are no longer supported" appears - Apple Support. See this for some background info
