Jan 05, 2009 · Active Sync recognized the phone and started to Sync but stops and tells me that "Active Sync encountered a problem on the desktop". The Support Code is 0x85010014. I have been to several sites. I have uninstalled Active Sync twice. Any help would be appreciated. I have tried lots of suggestions but nothing will sync.

Sep 18, 2007 · Windows XP Professional SP2, ActiveSync 4.5 and Windows Mobile 6.0. ActiveSync installed fine but when I try to sync for the first time, I get the support code 85010014 and no information has synced with my Mogul. I've uninstalled, re-installed, downloaded a version from microsoft.com and installed but I still can't get the syncing to work.

I'm using 4.5. Thanks for the link. I did go to that site already and did everyting they said. It seems to be geared for people running an earlier version of active sync and keeps suggesting to install 4.5 which I already have. I did run the troubleshooter from active sync 4.5 on my computer and emailed microsoft the log results from it.
