I confirmed that the php_exif.dll file exists in all related directories. I have restarted the server for many times. It does not seem to recognise exif functions...

I want to enable php_exif and php_mbstring extension on Linux shared hosting. I downloaded php.ini (not sure whether it is correct or not) by reading this and this. but I didn't find mbstring and exif extension on my php.ini.I downloaded for PHP 5.4 (my server runs on ot).

Oct 07, 2016 · I am using wındows (plesk) hosting. Can someone tell me how to enable php libaries there. My final purpose is to fix the rotation problem while uploading from mobile camera. I guess i need imagemagick or exif extensions to be activated. Should i just create an ini file (which one? php.ini or user.ini) and place it to webroot.

Sep 28, 2005 · Just below the checkbox for "PHP Module (version 4.3.3)" are all the PHP options. There is simply a checkbox named "Exif". If this is checked PHP will be compiled with Exif support. If you don't have this option, the version of WHM/Cpanel you have may not be up-to-date enough.
