I am running ACT 6.0 on windows 7 very succesfully. Go to the help on the start menu and search for XP mode. The instructions are very clear and accurate. I have installed both ACT 2000 and ACT 6.0 and they work perfectly.

Up until yesterday, I was running ACT 6.0 on a Windows XP machine. I've finally upgraded to Windows 10, but I can't get ACT 6.0 to install. I've downloaded the ACT 6.0 installation software, but after I unpack it, I can't find any of the unpacked files (including the setup.exe file).
