    Sep 14, 2010 · I asked what would happen if I enabled "ACPI 2.0 Support" with the OS already installed? I mean would it likely work or would there likely be problems booting up? Bear in mind that "ACPI APIC Support" (a default setting) was already enabled when the OS was installed.

    On the Motherboard there is an option called ACPI 2.0 and is set to enabled and ACPI APIC and is set to disabled and because of ACPI 2.0 is disabled probably sleep and hibarnate mode don't work very good so i wanna swich ACPI 2.0 option to enabled and my question is When i enable ACPI 2.0 should I enable or disable ACPI APIC then? You'll do TONS more work shuffling IRQ's (since despite APIC, in non-ACPI mode you only get 4 hardware-level interrupts - that's right ONLY 4!), and get almost no performance benefits.
