Jan 01, 2014 · I have an Acer Aspire T180. The machine came with an AMD Athlon 64 3800+ 2.4 Ghz processor. I am thinking about upgrading the processor to an AMD Athlon 64x2 Dual Core 6000+ 3Ghz processor. I have done some research on the motherboard and it is an ECS MCP61PM-AM motherboard.
