The HP A8M2N-LA does not support multiple graphics cards via Nvidia SLI or AMD Crossfire. The HP A8M2N-LA has 4 USB 2.0 slots but no USB 3.0 slots. While USB 3.0 slots are so far by no means necessary, and with a plethora of USB 2.0 peripherals to choose from, the USB functionality on this motherboard should be fine.

i have an hp a1600n with an asus a8m2n-la motherboard with 4 ram slots currently installed an athlon 64 x2 3800+ cpu. i use cpu id and it says the cpu is a athlon 64 fx-70(which is not possible due to the 1204 pins) the multiplier is at 7 so my cpu Freq : 1403.06 MHz (200.44 * 7)

Just for others that may be reading - my Compaq came with a AMD Athlon 3800 (single core) and A8M2N-LA (Naos) motherboard. I first tried the Athlon X2 3800+ processor to see if it would support the X2 CPU. The HP support page for the motherboard does not mention X2 CPU support. Worked just fine. Next tried a Athlon X2 4600+ and it worked also.

Hello, I have the ASUS A8M2N-LA originally packaged by HP in the Compaq SR2010NX model. I currently run a 64 x2 6400+. Wonder if there could be support for AM2+ or Phenom chipsets. There are quite a few of us over at CPU-Ugrade that have been working on this for a while. (Kinda long while.) Any help you could provide would be really appreciated.
