You have to send the value of inputText to the backing bean in order the outputText to reflect the changes so you should put: ajaxSingle="true" for a4j:support <a4j:support event="onkeyup" ajaxSingle="true" reRender="domainNameSlash"/>

Feb 10, 2009 · Hi, Thanks for responding. Atlast, it worked fine for me. For some reason, this code didn't work earlier and now it worked. The only difference I could see is that I changed the .jsp page.
