Mar 15, 2009 · It says "imovie requires a graphics card that is compatible with quartz extreme. One or more of your graphics cards does not support quartz extreme." I have been on a couple forums where people have had the same problem, and there doesn't seem to be a solution.

Mar 12, 2006 · Apple has choosen not to enable Quartz 2D Extreme for a good reason and that is because it currently does not provide any significant performance advantage and in some cases actually might be slower. Hopefully, Apple will fix whatever is wrong with Quartz 2D Extreme in 10.5 (Leopard).
