Nov 17, 2015 · You can get the printer to work temporarily (only until next reboot). Actually, I hope that it is a bug, and not MS intentionally ripping out parallel/legacy support. There had been rumors of removing legacy port support ever since before Windows 2000 was released. They backed off and have supported "legacy" (at least partially) until now.

Hp Deskjet 610c not printing 08-04-2014 11:28 AM. Thank you for helping me. The problem was solved when I changed the LPT cable. Obviously it was damaged. It was strange that the computer recognized the printer but it couldn't print. It was simple but hard to guess. Once again - thank you. 0 Kudos
