That's exactly right, and it all should be considered before setting up an aquarium. I was lucky, because the 55 gallon tank failed (front glass loud collapse) while I was home and Arizona was having a very dry Summer. What water didn't get picked up by the mop and broom evaporated in a few hours, and most of the fish survived in gallon jugs.

We used cinder blocks to reinforce the floor supports aka joists under the thing, My buddy doesnt keep fish but his gun safe is a whopping 3500 pounds, he had a crawlspace, we had to reinforce from the door to its final resting place.
