    Jun 11, 2007 · I have a 2001 F150 Supercrew I purchased new with 67,000 miles. I first noticed rust holes under both front doors and took it to 2 body shops for estimates for repair. They both looked under the truck and noticed my underbody sills/braces are totally rusted through. Eventually I will be going thru the floor and the stock running boards won't hold.

    Dec 09, 2014 · It is an involved process. You have to remove the front bumper, grille, and fenders, Then the condenser and radiator and the oil cooler and trans cooler if equipped. Then you have to cut off the rusted parts and weld in the new radiator support. I'm not equipped to do it so I'll be taking mine to the body shop for them to do it.
