Feb 22, 2011 · I am trying to install an ip camera for remote viewing on the internet. The camera is installed and is viewable on the local network. The problem is the 2-WIRE modem/Router. It does not support UPnP port forwarding. I tried creating a pinhole in the firewall and also tried assigning a private fixed ip address for the camera.

I have to say that this "cutting out" of DSL signal has become so bad in the last several months that I am probably going to have to consider another carrier.
